Concert Band

The Concert Band is our sub-non varsity band, comprised of second and third year band members.

 

Membership is determined by audition, academic eligibility history and overall work ethic and performance history.

 

The Concert Band performs at least three concerts, and participate in UIL Concert and Sightreading in the Spring. Additional performances may include school pep rallies and other opportunities where all AMS bands are performing.  Additional performances may include school pep rallies and other opportunities where all AMS bands are performing. Members in the Concert Band are expected to work diligently and participate in Solo and Ensemble Contest. In addition, they are strongly encouraged to participate in private lessons.
