Mrs. Page joined the Granbury band program in 2019 as head band director at Acton Middle School.   Under Mrs. Page's direction, Acton Middle School bands have earned exclusively first division ratings at UIL Concert & Sightreading Contest.  Previously, she was the head director at Tison Middle School in Weatherford ISD and Stafford Middle School, where her bands consistently earned superior ratings and received the honor of being recognized at the state level of the Outstanding Performance Series.  Mrs. Page is the primary director for the Acton Middle School Varsity ensemble, Honors Band and assists with the AMS Symphonic Band and Concert Band.  She also teaches beginner Saxophone, Clarinet, Euphonium and Flute.
 
April earned her bachelors' degree in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and her Master's degree in Administration Leadership from Lamar University.  In her free time she loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and her two sons; Aiden and Collin and their two dogs, Zeus & Hades. 
 

Jersey Kronk

Ms. Kronk is excited to begin her teaching career at Acton Middle School as Assistant Band Director! Ms. Kronk primarily teaches the Symphonic Band and assists with the Honors and Concert Bands. She also teaches the beginner tuba, trumpet, trombone and horn classes.
 
Ms. Kronk earned her Bachelor's degree in Music Education at Tarleton State University. While at TSU she studied Trumpet under Dr. Brian Walker and Dr. Julia Bell and performed in the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz 2 Ensemble, and various brass and trumpet ensembles. During her student teaching Ms. Kronk received the Spring 2024 McLellan Family Band Clinical Teacher Award. Her professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, International Trumpet Guild and International Women's Brass Conference.  Ms. Kronk resides in Granbury, Tx where she loves hiking, painting, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
